Just what I needed to see this morning... what seems so simple shouldn't really be so hard.

what a lovely sentiment. perfect does not exist, and that's why life's beautiful :)

I've been reading for awhile but haven't commented yet, but I found your blog a few months ago & have been gobbling up every word you've written.

This quote is one of my favorites, and I'm so glad that you shared it today. :)

i have been really thinking about the thought of becoming perfect lately, and i have come to the conclusion that when you accept yourself and do the best with what you've been given, you essentially become perfect. As you become who you are meant to be, you become the best version of yourself. And isn't that reaching perfection after all? I love that this quote reminds me that we were all created perfectly and that as we work on developing ourselves, we are only enhancing our own perfection.

This is so timely! Did you hear her Interview on Fresh Air yesterday? She and Terry Gross in the same conversation is amazing :)

One of my favorite quotes that I go back to time and time again.

Excellent. Yesterday I was in tears because I made a mistake at work. A public one. I have to get out of the mindset that everything I do must be "right." It keeps me from so much living. It's that fear of doing it wrong, coiled up in the deepest part of me. Hard work ahead. Thanks for posting.
