happy new year!

new year

i have so many new years resolutions for this next year.
not because there's so much that i want to change.
but because suddenly there's so very much that seems possible.

I LOVE the way you worded this. What an inspiration, Meg. :) I'm going to do my damnedest to adopt the same outlook. Happy New Years Eve!

That's a great way to look at it! Not things I want to change, but things that seem possible. That's a great thing to keep in mind. Although what to do with those possibilities...that is the question. Dun, Dun, Dun!
Cheers to you for a Happy New Year!!

So true! I love this. I like making resolutions too, but often I feel guilty about not actually completing any of my resolutions from LAST year. I love how you pointed out that it's not so much that you feel the need to change something, but more that you have so much that you want to do! That's such an awesome attitude.

Hi Bombshell. I live in Australia & have read your blog for some weeks moved by your elegance, clarity of thought and eloquent, tight writing. I'm much older than you & wanted to share some insights. If I could go back in time I'd probably want to live my life by your values. You will meet your husband-to-be. You seem to radiate creativity and spirit - attractive to everyone. Just be very fussy, because you're haute couture - not off-the-shelf or out of a box. You'll be formidably happy by your late 20s. Indeed, life seems pretty wonderful now. I would be very content if I were you. Take care & happy 2011. Warmly, Summer

Happy New Year! I am making 16 resolutions b/c I am 16 years old. :)

This is exactly how I feel about this year. My birthday is relatively soon--so rather than new years resolutions, I am compiling a list of things I want to accomplish before I am 22. Some of them are small things I have always wanted to do-- some of them are more life-changing, showing more growth and more progression than I think I feel I am ready for. Yet I see its possibility; I see my chance.

I sincerely, sincerely hope that 2011 is a prosperous year for you. Thankyou for letting us into your life.
