i have a question.

yesterday a black vespa crossed right in front of me.

i was stepping off the sidewalk and it zipped right by. it was so close i could have reached out and touched it.

and so my question is...

if a black cat crossing your path is an "omen of doom" (yes, one website described it as just that, an "omen of doom")

then a black vespa crossing your path is omen of ...

good tidings?

i'm gonna go with that. after all, you know how i love my vespas.

I go running by the Portland Vespa shop each Saturday morning. I see Vespas in every colour and size. IMO - a Vespa-crossing is an omen of dreams coming true.

Or maybe my good luck is because I've taken up running again...and my attitude and life-outlook have never been better!

Buy a ticket.
Right this moment.
And visit Verona.
On a Vespa.
After your days playing Juliet!

Oh how I love Roman Holiday.
and vespas...
I first fell in love when I was about eight years old and I promised my parents I would one day have a vespa.
I do believe that this crossing of the black vespa could only mean good things.

Without a doubt, a vespa crossing your path is an omen of good things to come. Really, what else could it be?

Absolutely good tidings! A bit of fate, perhaps...a sign that things will be changing for the better!

Of course, a vespa is an omen of good tidings...

especially if it comes with a beautiful, Italian manfriend who seats me behind him, lets me put my arms around his waist and squeeze tight against him as we drive the streets of Rome during a golden sunset with just a bit of rain on the horizon, and turns an otherwise ordinary day in Rome into something breathtaking and completely unexpected. *sigh*

I say dare to dream because only then will it even be able to come true, as this one did.
