the first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.

i've begun the slow and painstaking process of moving myself down the street. one suitcase at a time. and that's a form of movement, no?
sarah, amanda, and i toasted tonight to the many things just around the bend.
perhaps this chapter of blowing air through my lips to keep myself calm is just about to end. or shift, a little.

You gals are so chic! Love it! Hooray for new beginnings!
Congrats Meg! I too made a big decision this evening. And called my best friend to celebrate. Cheers!
you all look really pretty, and that's a great start!
Oh how I love that quote! So true!
When I read this post, I had a feeling that you'd made up your mind..and I was right!
Great quote to start a Monday! I hope I get myself going places soon..
ah meg!!!!
how wonderful. i'm so happy you guys found a great place.
can't wait to see it for myself!!
(haha and it doesn't hurt that you guys live down the street now. hooray!!)
love, carolyn
Pretty sure that is the best.quote.ever.
cheers to that!!
I am so happy for you and your move! I made a move down the street this time last year and it was the best decision. I moved in with some of my best friends from college (instead of living with weird craigslist people)and it was such a relief to be with people I know! My perspective definitely changed for the better!
Also, I love that quote because it perfectly describes where I am right now. I know that change is coming but now I have to decide between two locations, which is scary because I want to choose the right one!
Enjoy your new place, friend!
Oh, this post cheered up my Monday. "The many things just around the bend" - I hope they're all good.
i'm so excited for you meg! i have yet to live with best friends and i really really want to. cheers to you! xo

good luck on the move- from what you've shared here you have a dream apartment!!
in 3 weeks i will begin the painful process of storing 3/4 of my life in boxes for the summer and flying the other 1/4 home (if icelandic ash doesn't get in the way). i feel your packing pain :)
ah, meg that photo is the best. happy thoughts are headed your way - watch your head!
xoxo
