real age.

my mother has been pestering me for weeks now about my christmas wish list.

and last week when my skin fell apart (rosacea's return) i realized that a humidifier was a must.

so my list reads something like this:

reading chair

humidifier

new sneakers

bread pan

and upon actually writing it, i realized i have the wish list of of a 70 year-old-woman.

my mother on the other hand is asking for the wii.

hmph.

at least you didn't have a coloring book and paper dolls on your list. for some reason, i've been craving them both like crazy, and they'll make funny stocking stuffers, so...

humidifier...hmm...i need one too. ok. that's going on my list.

I feel your pain. My list consisted of a (curved)shower curtain rod, rugs for my bathroom and silverware.

I can relate! Although my list just doens't look like I'm 70... I also feel and sound like I'm 70! Blocked ear means I'm talking like I'm going deaf. Bad news!

I think I'm also a 70 year old woman: I asked for a new robe and a food processor. :)

I asked for Pampered chef cookie sheets and wire cooling racks. I think I got that in a box my brother sent me, and I'm being good by not opening it yet.

You're in good company! I'm home for christmas, and my mom got back from work the other day to find me snuggled on the couch watching antiques roadshow and doing a crossword. On a Saturday night.

I figure I'm getting it all out of my system in my 20s, so that as an 80 year old I will be the life of the party.
