i did it.

i found the pool this morning.

and i paid my 2 bucks.

and now i feel like i've been run over by a dump truck (but that might have something to do with the nyc heat and jetlag).

but oh how the body loves to swim!

swimming is the greatest feeling AND best exercise. you don't have to put on workout clothes or sweat!

good job! swimming is such a great workout and fun too! i swam competitively for 10 years, and have recently gotten back into the pool after a 10 year break!

never been a swimmer... But I literally just walked in the house, tears running down my face because i just saw my surgeon who worked on both my knees 9 months ago. After 10 years of volleyball at all levels, he looked me in the eye and told me, "your knees will never be back to normal."

The whole way home, I tried to think about new ways to be active that dont hurt, and swimming was one of the very few that came to mind.

... an answer to a small whisper prayer.... thanks girl.

I so agree, Meg! I'm pretty sure I was a fish in another life.
