When I lived way up north in Manhattan visiting Fort Tryon Park after a snowstorm was one of my absolute favorite things to do. This go round, knowing that Fort Tryon was on the other end of a subway ride I didn't want to take, I thought, what is the Brooklyn equivalent? You take the most beautiful photos! Love it.
Where did you live uptown? I live on 181st and spent Saturday afternoon walking around Fort Tryon!
@Alexandra: 181 and Haven (right up along the river). it was a gorgeous little pocket there...if only I didn't hate the A train so much. xo
These are such beautiful pictures! It looks so peaceful x
absolutely beautiful.
@Meg oh, that's such a lovely spot...I'm at 181st and Fort Washington, so not far! We may end up being neighborhood twins, as Carroll Gardens is the #1 Brooklyn contender on my list of potential-neighborhoods-to-possibly-move-to-sometime-in-the-next-5-years. In fact, I go all the way to Carroll Gardens to get my hair cut (intense, I know, but I started going to her when I lived in Brooklyn and you know how it is) and always want to stay longer.
Amazing photographs
i love the light in the third photo :)
absolutely love that last photo - the lighting is gorgeous.
