the slow process of settling.

it's slow going round here. but every day there's a little more information. church bells and a slowed pace. which outlets work and in which direction the apartment leans. who i can call to fix the drawer in the kitchen or unstick the window to the fire escape. and what it feels like to wake first thing and know this space is my own.

(and now there's internet).

I'm so happy for you!
Living alone is a whole new experience - you'll love it!
Is that your door buzzer area? Looks so pretty. Great idea to put the photos right on the wall.
Hope to get to see more of your new home.
Enjoy your own place!!!

Yay for settling, and internet! It's so nice to have a place of your own, to make it look however you feel.

I am jealous, I so desperately want a place of my own right now. It's not the right time, but that doesn't stop me from wanting it badly. I am excited for you and this new chapter in your life!
