i am so honored to be over here today. talking about beauty. and how it has almost nothing what to do with what i look like and definitely nothing to do with what the scale says or how my thighs do or do not jiggle when i attempt a morning jog (or walk).
i think reachel is glorious. all you have to do is read her about section to know why. and this series? well, if only we could all put down the pages of glossy magazines, cease the comparisons, and hook into what makes us--each, individually--really gorgeous.

it's so true feeling you're beautiful and knowing you're beautiful are two different things...sometimes not feeling beautiful gets all muddled up in my head
Beautiful post, and I definitely agree. I feel most beautiful when I'm happy, when I'm making others happy, when my body feels strong and alive, doing the things I love. It honestly rarely comes down to the specifics of how I look.
YES! Because then we would find out that women can be friends. Friends without competition. Friends without comparison and we would all be glorious in our own unique way!
i feel most beautiful when i am taking care of myself the way i should - i couldn't agree more that ceasing comparisons would be a huge step in the right direction.
I love Reachel! I had the chance to rub shoulders with her for awhile when I lived down the street from her in Arizona. She's the perfect example of true beauty!
Speaking of beauty, your post was beautiful! You have a great way with words Meg!
SUCH a great series!! And a perfect response. I agree whole-heartedly. Give me laughter over lipstick. Family over Fendi. That pure feeling of happiness as the sun beats down upon my face.
sigh.
beautiful.
Heading there now. Can't wait to read what you had to say!

You're such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I absolutely adore your post! It's my favourite one of yours yet :) I think that the most beautiful I felt was at a festival, covered in layers upon layers, with no make-up in the rain. It's odd where we find those moments, isn't it? xoxo
