"something 'bout the quiet surprise in darkness"

i have a list of people i want to see live: mayer hawthorne, fitz and the tantrums, portugal. the man, the avett brothers, laura marling, but there's something about this guy...

that puts him at the top of the list.

no question.

i've heard fitz and the tantrums are amazing live. and they're super fun to hang out with after a show... my coworker saw them at a small venue in Santa Barbara, and afterward she just walked up and started talking to them. she ended up having a drink with them and hanging out for a bit, and they were all for it.

you've definitely got yourself a great list there. :)

this just reminded me... i had a dream about an avett brother last night.

this is what i remember is i was at some sort of highschool prom/football game/dance competition and i felt left out. then i recognized him {the avett brother} and felt better because i knew who was when everyone else did not. when we talked i said oh, i know you, you're an avett brother. that's all.

lovely song. his voice has the mist of heartache.

i'm in love with bon iver. his words shake my soul. in a good way. in a painful way, but mostly in a healing way.

i'd love to see him live.

I wish I was going to see Fitz and The Tantrums in a few weeks. They'll be at Terminal 5 on the 10th I think, but I'm still not sure if I'll be going. It should be an amazing show, definitely try to go.

Love your choices, have you heard William Elliott Whitmore? He's definitely an acquired taste, but sometimes I love his half breaking voice.

Okaay! so I can't reply to your post on my blog incase he reads it but basically I'm a big ball of confused. Went out with him, for a lovely dinner, walked around Prague by night, was lovely, went and had a sleep over, all was well. Went into town with him, dropped him off at work, he kissed me outside his work... and that was it. three weeks ago. he hasn't been in prague on the weekend since then and has no suggested of being there any time soon.

so i'm not sure. everything was really nice, but i like to be fought for and i'm not sure that's gonna happen with him. oh well, i'm in europe :P

YES come to Prague next year!!! it's SO affordable, really :) xx
