mary oliver is my hero.
it is like your blog has been speaking to my soul lately! there's so much truth in this.
i had this quote on my tumblr a few days ago- kindred! love.
I feel like Mary Oliver is my close personal friend. She has so many poems that just resonate with me.I love this one especially. Me - the ever sentimental, saver of all things. I'm learning (though not easily) that you have to be able to let things go. If I can't learn I'll spend my whole life hurting, and that afterall, is no life at all.
i'm in the holding it against my bones stage. so beautiful.
i love this! so true.
This is so beautiful :) And I really really hope it cools down for you over there! It sounds horrible!!!xoxo
this is so beautiful
Amen, sister. Amen.xo.
Row for your life. I can't remember what poem that is fun but that's a good one.
Hi Meg...I'm always following Naomi's blog and I found a post where you were tagged and started reading your blog (which is great, btw)...It seems that you are always posting things I identify with and this one today was perfect for the moment.. I lost a very good friend in a car accident yesterday and my heart is broken. When I read this I immediately saw myself in those lines.I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration.xo
