on friday, before there was any hint of the flu that was about to sweep over me,

dining al fresco with dad

open doors

half in, half out

new leaf

i had lunch with my father at the new leaf cafe. and it was perfect.

ps: happy birthday dad. i love you so much. can i blame the day-late wishes on my muddled, hysterical, feverish mind?

Glad you got to enjoy lunch out with your day {at such a gorgeous spot!} before the flu hit you.

Feel better soon, Meg.

Sorry to hear about getting sick. I came down with the flu a couple weeks ago and it's crazy how quickly I turn into this little kid who feels so very miserable and sorry for herself. Awful feeling, but rest assured, life will feel so beautiful and fresh when you are your old self again.

As always, loving your photographs.

My father had the flu for four days and I was sure I was going to get it... I've managed to avoid it thus far, however.
