holy cupcake!

look what i've done!

holy cupcakes on a plate!

there are days when i feel like i'm actually regressing. moving backwards. undoing any progress in an upward and positive direction for my life.

but for every ten of those days, there's one where i manage to make a batch of cupcakes for a cast picnic. i (1) finish said cupcakes a full day in advance. (2) the frosting does not get everywhere, as it has in the past. and (3) i do all of this in high altitude {which, need i remind you, i am less than unaccustomed to}.

and i think to myself, kid, you're doing just fine.

okay, the BEST cupcakes in provo are at the cocoa bean cafe! (its on university ave) i'm a regular there... that's probably a bad thing. :P

Oo, those look so yum! I love the rainbow sprinkles! It's great how baking can make us feel so much better about things.

p.s. I have to disagree about the cocoa bean cafe...sweet tooth fairy definitely has the best cupcakes in town. way better than cocoa bean's.

You look absolutely happy!

P.S.: I get the feeling about baking and had the frosting episode too.

Kid, you are doing just fine. It takes an incredible person, an incredible woman, to up-root themselves, to better themselves, to seek out something unknown, unfamiliar, daunting even. You are doing just fine You are doing better than fine. You are living a life carved for yourself which is more than many can say for themselves and it is amazing. Carry that with you. Be proud of yourself. And give yourself a break. You are amazing. And it's about time you realized that.
