dear husband-to-be,

yesterday i wore a pair of jeans.

i know, doesn't seem like such a big deal.

but it means you and i will never have that uncomfortable conversation where you say you've never seen me wear any.

and what that really means is... well, everything.

love,
your boot-scoot-and-boggying-blue-jeans-wearin'-little-lady

I always love these letters.

hope you're getting used to Utah. It takes a bit of getting used to, but don't worry, it grows on you quickly :)

(and believe what people say about cafe rio. it really is addicting.)

Love the new header, and I really enjoy these letters-to-someone (letters-to-someday)? It's incredibly brave and great of you. :)

I love your husband-to-be letters. I feel like it's been awhile since you've posted one, so I'm happy to see you checking in with him. ;)

Love the new header as well. See Utah is already helping with your creativity.

Ba ha ha. That's right. Set 'em straight from the start... then you won't have to deal with that in the future! Kudos-

I know someone who recently wore her first pair of shorts in years - a similar triumph :)

wooo-hooo! you go girl! :)
and thank you a million times over for the skin regime- I'm off to the stores asap to check everything out! (I should have known you would work for a fab brand like clinique! my mom is literally addicted to their stuff)
I know adjusting to a new place and roomies is hard (and I responded by going through the "i've been sitting here, alone, for days, just watching dvds and eating peanuts" phase) but I hope tomorrow is a great day for you!

p.s. I've just seen the first comment from brown eyed girl (about cafe rio). it's true- I've never been to utah, but I've heard SO much about cafe rio and it's fabulouness that I think It's the first place I will visit should I ever land there :)

these letters are a breath of fresh air. i am so glad that you express yourself so openly about what you are as a woman and want you want in life and... such. and i have to say, as a fellow Texan, i don't know about this Cafe Rio stuff. you'll have to sample it and put up a critique. "i wouldn't trust nothin' no northerner said was good" ;) i have to hear it from a Texan.
