i once wrote a letter to my 18-year-old self when i was 13. i couldn't believe the encouragement my 13-year-old self told me. i cried so much because she reminded me that i'd be hurt by people close to me, but that i would need to let it go.
it shocked me that i could know and predict those things when i was younger.

i love writing little letters to myself to open in a year. i wrote one on new years day and i can't wait to open it in 2011!
