i was asleep for exactly 45 minutes tonight before i was awoken by the lightening storm.

if i was little i'd be in my parents bed by now.

it's overhead. so close. and i'd be terrified to be caught in this.

but i'm tickled to no end to be in bed and enjoying it.

suddenly new york feels tiny.

Mmm hmm ... *love* that feeling, esp. when it's raining hard and I can hear it on the roof over my bedroom and in the gutters on the side of the house.

That storm was SO scary! I wanted to run into my parents room- or be anywhere but all alone in my big scary bed! (where is my charming mr.-darcy-boyfriend? to cuddle with me during these scary storms we keep having? hehe)
