my laundry is done, but yet to be taken out of the basket. i can't seem to catch up on all the sleep i lost over the last seven weeks, but don't think i haven't seen some good things on this here world-wide-web:
this had me rolling. (those really good king of laughs).
the woman behind the dear, sugar writes essays and books. (really good ones). like this.
dr. dog was my first live concert so they hold a special place in my heart. their new album is quite good. in particular, this song makes so much sense to me.
speaking of songs: regina's got a new one!
i'm in need of some snow boots and these look pretty darn good. any thoughts?
speaking of snow, what are all the cool kids wearing on the slopes these days?
and finally, as if i didn't already love ron swanson...

Fun finds. I've been playing Dr. Dog up super loud the last couple weeks. It's been played often during my post-dinner dance parties I have with my boys (ages 2 and 5) every night. Loving it. And Ron Swanson. Of course.
yay dr. dog! i really think they just might be in my top ten if not five favorite bands. don't quote me on that. it's ever changing. :)
I am a proud owner of those snow boots and love them! I would definitely suggest them!
whoakay - dr. dog is my favorite. i have seem them thrice. i am seeing them again in boston in a few weeks.
and if you want bean boots, please email me.
That email correspondence reminded me of the 27bslash6 website. Hilarious. I'm in love with my new red Sorel boots, and so far they have been perfect for tromping through the snow here in Colorado. Mine have a bit of fake fur at the top, which is totally out of character for me, and every time I wear them I sing "boots with the furrrr" and crack myself up. Have a great time in Utah!
Ahh...thanks for sharing the new regina song! i must have missed this.
Sometimes I think Ron Swanson is who my husband would have become....if he had met a Tammy, instead of me! :) Thanks for sharing, friend!
WOW that essay was amazing. thank you for sharing it.
