one of the best things about having been in new york for so long now is that i feel like i have friends all over. and not just geographically, what i mean is... there are friends from school, yes, but also from work and from friends of friends. from chance encounters.
the circle is ever-growing.
i met heather and brooke last january and they've quickly become two of my very favorite people in this world. i feel like i've known them for ages. we do things like brunch, celebrate birthdays, go fishing for men in brooklyn on friday nights, observe high-tea, take ridiculous photos, and on and on.

Friends like that are the best!
All your tea food looks divine.
omg! these photos made me drool. Oh and is that coffee in the pale green mug or is it milk tea? What a fun bunch of friends you have, which reminds me, I've been so busy with work that I hardly have time to hang out with good friends.
Just catching up on your last several posts... they make me happy. :)
Gorgeous apartment, and gorgeous table! I'd love to host a high tea.
I love this!
that tea is making me drool! I LOVE high tea. oh i wish i lived there too now! :)
If those are Tim Tams in your picture stacked jenga-style, I am EXTREMELY jealous.
I really, really want to be friends with you! You look like you have so much fun. And high-tea is just about my favourite thing! You beauty.
Mmm tea parties, my favorite! I just posted about one over at my blog today, too!

I feel that same way. I've been in college for three years now and when I came I felt so alone. I love the moment you realize you really do have a very lovely circle of friends.
