it's getting to the time of the year that i'm beginning to ponder new year's resolutions. 

did you know the french don't call it a resolution, but rather a wish?

a wish for the new year. 

i like that. 

(though, if i was to adopt a mantra, it might have to be the one above).

I like that, too, cause it is a bit more realistic. Calling it a resolution just makes me feel bad.

That's a good way to look at it - a wish for the New Year. Makes it seem more possible and less like something you know you'll fail at! Lol.
