it's september first.

and i'm already breathing a bit easier.

even if life feels peculiar and a little difficult right now, i'm still breathing just a bit easier.

i was born into the fall. made for this time of the year.

and so i'm soaking it all up.

open windows and some very good (and eclectic tunes) on the record player.

(actually speaking of record players, must remember to add one of those to the birthday/christmas wish list).

Irene certainly left us with some lovely breezes. I was so thrilled when I stepped outside this morning! Also, "Where do the bluebirds fly" never, ever gets old.

Frank Sinatra is my favorite! I am so sad that he's gone, but I don't have to believe that.

And I love that song by Sam Cooke. Makes my heart melt. :)

You and me both sister! It's my birthday month and I'm getting nervous about the big 2-5. eek!

My record player was found at a consignment store here in cali...i bet the prices at places like that in nyc are so inflated? I hope you get one for your birthday! =)

Hello September! That was fast listening to these tunes as I cook dinner. Thanks lady!

It isn't my birthday month and I wasn't, absolutely wasn't, born into it in a literal sense. And YET--I love it so. It sparks off my few favourite months of the year and I could not be happier in them. There is not a better time to be in the cosy, familiar warmth of my family home, studying. There is not a better time to write or read or bake. There is not--I don't think--a better time to be myself.

And what a BEAUTIFUL little collection of songs, you have there. Sinatra AND Bon Iver? Oh, that is bliss.

I love when you post music. I always open the post in a new window and listen to the playlist all the way through. :)

LOVE your music selection. Frank Sinatra is a man who never does wrong.

I hope you don't mind but I featured you in my website love and on my links page. If you do, just reply and I'll take it down!

Fall is the best season! There is no contest. Although they are all pretty good in their own way. I hate that I live somewhere that doesn't have any seasons. Sad face.

ooooooh thank you for the playlist! i love sharing music, & i am currently brainstorming my first fall playlist. usually around this time, i will make 'mix tape' CDs & mail them out to my closest friends. this has inspired me to get a jump on that... & it has given me something to listen to on this lovely friday :)

I listen to the Tallest Man on Earth, and I have never met anyone who's ever heard of it! Where Do My Bluebird's Fly is one of my favorite songs. I'm loving this grooveshark playlist.
check my tumblr out! I'm working on a post about Bon Iver.
