I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.

oh lord, dearest anonymous, don't go getting any ideas. i wish i was falling in love. i am not. but when i do i most certainly will share it here!! but i'm tickled to no end and terribly flattered that that's something you so want for me and think i deserve! xo.

One of my favorite tiny pieces of writing.
brian andreas is EVERYTHING an author/artist should be. i have all his work, and it hits my heart like none other.
just beautiful and so so true.
that's beautiful. i'm learning greek right now and i think it's so special that they have four words for love.
oh meg this is so painfully beautiful!! i've been wanting to comment again for a while but... have been getting married in the meanwhile! and started a new blog in honour of it :) i saw some of your music-posts, you know i've always been really boring and typical in my song choices -- but wondered what your thoughts are on Adele? Her song 'someone like you' reminded me of you - the emotions were so painfully beautiful - just like a lot of your gorgeous writing. anyways, just to say HI, and that ive missed reading your blog :)
oh my gosh - I don't know if I love the story people or the words of the Anonymous poster more. Aw!
Awwww!
