That lost shot is one of my favorite buildings in all of NYC! My best friend lives on 70th and Columbus, and I think I have taken a picture of it every time I go see her. Great shots!
Also, is it weird that after only three days of rain it is hard for me to even remember what the sun looks like? I totally agree with you that the sound of the rain on the window is incredibly comforting when you can stay in and relax, but it is also making my early morning wake ups so difficult! Just keep thinking about raining chocolate, and the hope of sunny days next week!
Oh, these photos make me long to go to New York. (And I will, you know. One day I will. I will take my love and we will see everything---absolutely everything. And I will treat him to a little of my Americana-filled childhood, but that's another story). I love that little cheeky grin of a girl and the curving benches and the sun hat!---the sun-hat suits you so much! Oh, you do make me smile.

Lovely! I have been in such a mood for a picnic lately. I need to make it happen before it gets super hot. :)
