blue skies.

since returning to new york several weeks ago the sun has come out...twice. (maybe).

it's april 13 and my heater still roars (sputters) to life each morning.

i am. losing .my mind.

but today i officially signed a second lease for my current apartment making this little castle in the sky the longest place i've ever lived in new york city and removing me one step further from vagabond-em (fear not, i'm still pretty close).

so...

blue skies, no?

sunday morning

My mouth LITERALLY dropped when I saw your header. It's BEAUUUTIFUL. Did you draw it? So fabulous. I love bikes.

And ugh. COME ONE SUN COME ON. It's been raining here. It's not fun. SUN. Come.

By the way, I loved the comment you left me. "Time is so elastic."

So true.

I hope the sun comes out soon in New York for you! I would hate being that sun-deprived.

It looks so dreamy and nice. My friend and I are couchsurfing in New York City this summer for two nights and we couldn't be more excited!

I see sunlight on the floor if your castle!
if that were my spot of light, I'd grab a book, a cup of tea, and sit, right in the middle of it! and of course invite you to join me ;)

not sure about you, but there have been days where I've longed and sought after the life of a vagabond, but then others, where I've begged for some form of stability... the grass is always greener on the other side!

I am going to DIE if the sun does not come out and stay out soon. This city needs to cheer up.

Spring came to the mountains last week, almost overnight, like in The Secret Garden.

Unfortunately, the temperatures are back down in the 30s this evening and all the poor, wee daffodils are looking rather peaked.

This is not how it happened at Misselthwaite Manor!

And, is that your apartment? It's spotless and spacious! Such great light, too...I love it!!

i can't wait to have blue skies and warm days more often than not. we've had a few nice days but mostly it's been rain and chill. summer needs to hurry up!
