vegetarian delight.

turkey sandwich. hold the turkey.

dear lunchtime-sandwich,

you are perfection.
need i say more?
oh, but i will.
with your glistening tomatoes, ripe avocado, unruly alfalfa sprouts and surprising cilantro you have undone me.
all your ingredients bring such satisfaction, but none so much as the horseradish mayonnaise. oh, the horseradish mayonnaise! it is potent. and i love it for that alone.

so, dearest lunchtime-sandwich, this is all to say, thank you for making the decision to forgo meat day-after-day so darn pleasurable.

love, love,
the former cheeseburger queen

bravo you, dunno if i could do the vegetarian thing.

but i am a strict (except for in and out, duh) grass fed beef eater...does that count for something?

love vegetarian meals though. i just don't know that i could swear off a good steak.

but really, bravo you.

and glad to know you like cilantro. many people hate it. i find it lovely.

I love veggie sandwiches and i'm not evan a vegetarian! There is something about the freshness for the veggies with the bread or bagel. YUM! I like the idea of the cilantro.. might have to try that. :)

Yummy!! I am a new vegan (4 months and going strong) and this sandwich looks amaaaaazing! I'd have to find a sub for the horseradish mayo, but....
Your pic and description are making me hungry.
And I agree with you, sprouts ARE unruly! :)

oh how delicious! Couldn't you just put horseradish and avocado on simply everything? I've been vegetarian for about two months now, after I read that silly book, Skinny Bitch. Has it been long for you? Any yummy recipes I should know about?

so, i'm on this vegetarian kick right now (a 30 day-stint that may be extended). now, i know you're not a sushi person, but i absolutely love my rice and raw fish. the other day i went out for sushi and only ordered vegetarian rolls. surprisingly fantastic and satisfying.

this is my long way of saying that sandwich looks and sounds delectable. and that vegetarianism can be cool too.

all of you vegetarians. funny story i was one for like a year in a half. lets just say i am the new hamburger queen for now. this may or may not change. :) also i love the comment that you left on my blog it helped me get through today. and yes i think it is perfectly fine to be "that girl." also my mother wants me to drop out of school move to new york and become and actress, she said if i did not she knows it will be one of the biggest regrets of my life. (when she said this i thought of you.) she asked who i was talking about and i said ohh just a friend!
