1. and 2.

it would seem there are two things i cannot bring myself to write about.

1. theatre
2. the only man i've ever really been in love with

i'd like to write about both. i attempt to write about both. often. but the words simply do not come.

i was going to try. just now. to give theatre a little whirl. to put some words into the air.

so i sat down to my computer. looked at the blank screen. looked a the rough draft i penciled into my moleskin yesterday. got tired. and decided to take a nap instead.

yup, a nap at seven o'clock.

will try again. later.

Sometimes I feel this way too. That I cannot give words to the things that deserve them most. But if you keep trying, especially when it's hard, I think you'll get there. Eventually. I once read something that said “Keep writing. Keep doing it and doing it. Even in the moments when it's so hurtful to think about writing.”

So that's what I try to do.

I do this all the time.. try to start a project, homework, or write.. and I just end up napping.

I think it could be the fact that I use my bed as a desk.. but really.. why wouldn't I want to? It's so comfy...zzzzz.

I'm excited for both posts... whenever they may come. :)

And I vow to be better at commenting because I so adore your blog.

you know what? i think you can do it. definitely.

you've inspired me to share about my hard-to-address subject on my blog and i am currently trying to write about it.

"I never know what I think until I see what I say." I think Saul Bellow said that.

Sometimes that sentiment motivates me to keep going. Good luck. :)

'Tis true that some things are just too personal to put into words and share with the world. That being said, there is something about the release of inner most thoughts, wishes, failures and triumphes. The letting go and putting it out there can be very liberating, but it does take great amounts of courage.

I liked your post a few weeks ago that ended: "to let go is to open a door and to clear a path and set yourself free." I think writing and posting can be a form of exactly this.

Hope this helps. Hope you find the words. Hope you find the calm.
