we're having a real life thunderstorm here in nyc

my absolute favorite kind of weather.

and seeing as how i can count my nyc thunderstorms on one hand (in part because i've never really spent my summer's here) i'm loving this.

usually rain calls for edith piaf and a little dancing.

but today i'm enjoying Coeur de pirate (i read about her fabulous french pop on one of your blogs and now i'm at a loss for which one--remind me, will you?!), cleaning, and getting ready for work...oh how can i got to work when the weather is this perfect?

ps: there is a soap star who lives on my block. i always see him in pajama bottoms. pajama bottoms. all hours of the day. hmmmm.

As much as I'm loving the sunshine we're getting here...I prefer storms too. That sounds magical.

hope you had a great day at work!!! I leave my big girl job at 5 and then play waitress immediately afterwards... :p

Oh, yes Meg, it's a ridiculous nightmare. I still can't figure out what happened and why when I know I've done my best and I have never given so much love and trust to anyone. I've been waiting for so long and I had and still have all the reasons to know he is trustable. But it seems that he doesn't know how to appreciate what he has. What can I do? Wait for ever? I'm sorry, even my own stupidity has a limit. I'll suffer a bit (oh, God knows I have no idea why I don't break myself into pieces when all my dearest plans have become dust and I have no plan B and don't even want to have a plan B). Who knows, maybe someday I'll be grateful that it happened like that. So, I'll keep laughing. Everything's a parody anyway.

I love thunderstorms! It is so cheerful to be inside, cuddled with your friends, drinking tea and cocoa during a storm!...Well, as long as it is a saturday and I am not walking the 20 minutes up the hill to class:)

Lovely, lovely weather. It makes me want to curl up with a good book and a nice record, preferably classical...

And, might you, maybe have heard about Coeur de Pirate on my blog??? I did do a post about her a while back. I seem to be a tad bit obsessed....
