today is the first day of october.

the start of october ushers in my favorite time of the year.

perhaps it is the feel of the air. the sense of new beginnings and hope. perhaps it is the celebration of my birthday. or that it begins the path to thanksgiving and christmas.

i'm not sure precisely what it is, i'm just glad that it is here.

I'm an october person too! I always end up spending a lot of money on myself during october always making excuses telling dustin, "But just consider this one of my birthday gifts!" I'm such a brat!

*What date are you?! I'm the 24th.

these next few months are my fav time of the year too!

Twenty five was a good year for me.

This is, without a doubt, my favourite time of year. The colours are beautiful; the temperature is so perfectly agreeable and the promise of festivities and celebrations (nice, homely ones) is always thrilling.

I absolutely agree, there is SO much to look forward to from October on :) And there really is a change in the air. And people smile that little bit more. It's lovely.

And happy birthday month!!!

I'm with you. I love saying goodbye to the sultry summer & hello to the alluring autumn. I appreciate how life seems to slow down a little bit. Happy Birthday!!

Amen. I don't know why I love October exactly, but it is my favorite month. I think it has something to do with the way the rain makes the leaves look brighter and the way the air smells. And sweaters. :)
